We started off with a Dilapidated 1986 AM General Humvee and converted it to what you see in the gallery below.

We sourced a newer 6.5L General Motors center mount turbo, we tore the motor down and reassembled and sealed the motor again from top to bottom. We powdercoated the Intake manifold / pulley setups / and the Valve covers for longevity.  We modified a new stock turbo with a Billet Wheel. We ran a custom wastegate that ensures 12-13psi of boost. We are running a Leroy Diesel aluminum Crank pulley to keep rotating weight for the serpentine belt system down. The cooling system was also modified for high heat situations.  The whole fuel system was rebuilt and reengineered from the tank to the motor. The Fuel system was upgraded from mechanical to electric via a Walbro fuel pump. We rebuilt the Injector pump and turned it up 10% over stock. We rebuilt the original Injectors and upped them by 40%. All new high-pressure fuel lines, along with a fully rebuilt Tank setup. During the Installation of the motor, we updated the Transmission to a 4l80 and the transferase to a NP242. We cracked open the T-case and rebuilt it. Gold Coast Transmissions stuffed the 4l80 with Redline Clutches, a custom stall converter, and upgraded the Valve body. It shifts like a gun! In order to control the shifts, we worked with FAST Technologies and put together a package and tune that optimizes the shift points for performance, vs the stock transmission module that will early shift the truck as it is set for heavyweight situations. We now are able to control the lockup of the TC, the shift firmness and the rpm shift patterns. We also worked with Dakota Digital to get all the signals into place for this Hog to shift properly via ensuring our input signals were exact. During the transmission overhaul, we installed a Digital readout speedo that reads up to 80mph. We worked with Predator Motorsports to setup a 2-inch body lift. During the lift installation we installed Enhanced Airlift hooks and gaskets. Once the body was installed back onto the Frame we fabricated a custom 3 to 4 inch exhaust that exits from the factory location. We finished off this Hog with a set of 20×9.5 Black Rhino Arsenal Wheels wrapped in 38×13.50 Nitto Mud grapplers. The whole chassis was Painted to match, and all driveline components were gone through and sealed. We worked with Florida Driveline to fabricate HD driveshafts and yolks. We put a total of 300 very harsh test miles on it before shipping it to Texas. Enjoy your Truck Neil!  The whole project took 3 months. You can view the whole build out via our YouTube Channel.
