Description:

This 1987 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z was registered with one owner until 2014 and now shows 72k miles. The car is finished in white over tan Corinthian leather upholstery and is powered by a turbocharged 2.2-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes 15″ alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and a CD/cassette stereo. This Daytona is now offered at no reserve with owner's manuals, a removed stereo, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Indiana title.

Interior:

The cabin features tan Corinthian leather upholstery, front and rear bucket seats, and a 14-way power-adjustable driver's seat. Additional elements include air conditioning, a CD/cassette stereo, a retractable cargo cover, and rear sun visors in addition to power mirrors, windows, and locks. Wear is noted on the driver's backrest. Instruments include a 125-mph speedometer, a tachometer, four auxiliary gauges, and a boost-pressure gauge housed in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 72k miles.

Exterior:

The body is finished in white with black side moldings and red pinstripes, and it is equipped with retractable headlights as well as a body-color rear spoiler. The selling dealer reports that the front valance was repainted under prior ownership, and blemishes around the body are noted in the walkaround video below. Silver 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with 225/50 Kumho Ecsta AST tires. Four-wheel disc brakes and rack-and-pinion steering were standard equipment.

Drivetrain:

The turbocharged 2.2-liter Turbo II inline-four was rated at 174 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque when new. Service in 2019 included replacing the thermostat and flushing the coolant.
