Description:
This 1947 Lincoln Continental is one of 831 club coupes produced for the model year. Finished in black over patterned red upholstery, the car is powered by a 292ci V12 linked to a three-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Equipment includes 15″ steel wheels, hubcaps, whitewall tires, a rear-mounted spare-tire carrier, hydraulic drum brakes, a hood ornament, push-button door handles, and fender skirts. Service performed in preparation for the sale involved rebuilding the carburetor, overhauling the brakes, and replacing the driver-door glass and the spark plugs.
Interior:
The cabin features a split front and solid rear bench seat trimmed in patterned red upholstery. Appointments include a painted body-color dashboard, a clock, an AM radio, bright metal trim, an oval-shaped rearview mirror, and a fold-down rear armrest. The driver-door glass was replaced, and the window track and regulator were repaired in preparation for the sale. The hydraulically operated power windows are said to sometimes require manual assistance to raise. The AM radio does not work, the striped headliner is stained and torn, and the trunk-compartment lining is discolored. The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and frames a 110-mph speedometer and gauges for water temperature, oil pressure, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 32k miles, approximately 20 of which were added by the selling dealer.
Exterior:
The car has been repainted in black and features a hood ornament, front vent windows, push-button door handles, rubber stone guards, rear fender skirts, dual exhaust outlets, chrome bumpers and trim, and a rear-mounted spare-tire carrier. Body-color 15″ steel wheels wear trim rings and Lincoln-badged chrome hubcaps and are mounted with Delta 784 Godfather whitewall tires.
Drivetrain:
The 292ci flathead V12 was the last offered by an American manufacturer and was factory rated at 125 horsepower. The car has a chrome-finished generator, an oil-bath air cleaner, a six-volt electrical system, and a Motorcraft voltage regulator. The carburetor was rebuilt in preparation for the sale, the fuel system was cleaned, the oil was changed, and the spark plugs and the drive belt were replaced.

guarantee that every gauge, light, window, horn, option, function, etc., will work as it should. Please
check your local state inspection requirements. We do our best to inspect these vehicles in every
