Description:

Talk about a nicely Restored 1954 Jeep M38-A1. This was in a private collection for
over 20 years, we were able to buy it from the estate and bring it back to life. We
replaced the engine and all fluids and filters. Still retains the correct motor for the period.
It is plenty powerful and the 4x4 works excellent as you will see in our video. This is a
very solid piece of American history. Top and doors are original and correct.

Interior:

The interior is very nice, all lights and gauges work. Cushions are in nice shape. E
brake work as it should. Clutch is easy, Top keeps the heat in and makes it comfortable
during the winter months.

Exterior:

The exterior is very nice with no rust. Body panels are straight, and it is painted the
proper Olive Green. Small tear on the Driver's side rear curtain.

Drivetrain:

Powered by the “Go Devil” F head inline 4 it runs excellent, as I said It is a newer motor,
completely resealed, we purchased the block from Peter Debella. We did rebuild the
original motor, and we can include it for an additional fee. Transmission shifts as it
should, brakes are stiff and you will need to give it extra force to stop. No leaks.

Quality Disclaimer

Due to our inventory size, we are unable to drive every vehicle for long distances. We also cannot guarantee that every gauge, light, window, horn, option, function, etc., will work as it should. Please check your local state inspection requirements. We do our best to inspect these vehicles in every detail and note any imperfections in the advertisement. Please note that we do not guarantee any air conditioning systems, gauges, or electrical systems. Given the nature of the vintage vehicles we sell, these components will need upkeep or attention. In addition, many times these vehicles sit for long periods of time and once you begin to drive them seals harden and gaskets may begin to leak! Classic cars leak. Please make sure you are comfortable with this before buying a vintage automobile. The information contained in this ad is solely for convenience. The description is an opinion only and should not be considered a complete description of any or all faults; it may not be relied upon nor taken as fact or otherwise a representation or warranty of any sort. Please note, we did NOT build or restore the vehicle. Vehicles are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS with all faults known/unknown and with no implied warranty. Pre-Purchase inspections welcome, we describe these vehicles to the best of our ability.
