Description:

This 1940 Ford Deluxe coupe was modified in street-rod style in the mid-2000s including the installation of a 350ci RamJet V8, a four-speed automatic transmission, and a replacement frame with independent front suspension. The car is finished in red over a custom beige leather interior, and additional equipment includes 15” steel wheels, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, rack-and-pinion steering, a power-adjustable bench seat, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, and a custom stereo featuring a Pioneer head unit and an Infinity amplifier and speakers.

Interior:

The cabin was reupholstered in beige leather with matching door panels by Appleman Interiors of Lancaster, Ohio. Amenities include a power-adjustable front bench seat, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, and red three-point seatbelts. A Pioneer head unit is installed within the glovebox along with a wired controller connected to a trunk-mounted Infinity Kappa amplifier and speakers.
A banjo-style steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 2,300 miles, and true mileage is unknown.

Exterior:

Red-finished 15” steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and are mounted with 195/60 front and 225/70 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The replacement frame features independent front suspension with coilovers up front and a live axle with leaf springs out back. Additional installed suspension and steering modifications include rack-and-pinion steering as well as front and rear sway bars. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes assisted by a booster located under the floor.

Drivetrain:

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed 700R4 automatic transmission and a nine-inch rear axle. The car is equipped with a dual exhaust system featuring tubular four-into-one headers. The General Motors Performance Parts 350ci Ramjet V8 crate engine features electronic fuel injection and polished valve covers.
