Description:

This 2004 Yamaha YZ450F has been converted into a three-wheeler to compete in Trike Cross competitions and is finished in black with red, white, and blue graphics. It is powered by a liquid-cooled 449cc DOHC four-stroke single mated to a four-speed transmission, and features include CD ignition, a Keihin carburetor, a Lexx silencer, a KYB fork, an SDG seat, skid plates, front and rear disc brakes, and a fork-mounted number plate.

Interior:

The handlebar wears black ODI rubber grips and features a thumb-operated throttle and a front brake lever on the right along with a clutch lever and a kill switch on the left. A coolant temperature gauge is located to the right of the steering head tube. No instrumentation is present, therefore true mileage is unknown.

Exterior:

The bodywork is finished in black with red, white, and blue graphics. Equipment includes a 1.8-gallon fuel tank, an SDG black vinyl-upholstered solo seat, a fork-mounted number plate, and a rear grab bar.

Drivetrain:

The liquid-cooled 449cc DOHC four-stroke single features magnesium engine casings, five valves, titanium heads, a 39mm Keihin carburetor, CD ignition, a kick starter, and a single exhaust system with a Lexx slip-on silencer that exits under the rear bodywork. An oil change was carried out in preparation for the sale. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a four-speed transmission and a drive chain. Skid guards protect the rear sprocket, chain, and rear disc. Multi-piece black-finished wheels measuring 11″ up front and 9″ out back wear Sunf and Maxxis tires, respectively. Suspension is comprised of an adjustable KYB fork with seal savers in addition to a monoshock mounted to the swingarm. Braking is handled by a drilled disc with a two-piston Nissin caliper up front and a solid disc out back.
