Description:

This 1955 Ford Fairlane Town sedan is finished in two-tone white and blue over blue upholstery and is powered by a 272ci V8 paired with a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. The car was refurbished under prior ownership it was acquired in April 2022, and subsequent work included rebuilding the triple Holley 94 carburetors. Equipment includes chrome bumpers, 13″ steel wheels, a Magic Aire ventilation system, and a push-button stereo. This Fairlane is now offered at no reserve with the manufacturer's literature and a clean Florida title.

Interior:

The cabin was retrimmed in blue cloth and vinyl under previous ownership, and features include lap belts, carpeted floor mats, a Magic Aire ventilation system, and a push-button AM radio. The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a transparent 120-mph speedometer and readouts for fuel level and coolant temperature.

Exterior:

The car was finished from the factory in Aquatone Blue and Snowshoe White and was repainted under previous ownership. Additional work during the refurbishment included replacing the front and rear floor pans, risers, body seals, emblems, door handles, windshield, and backlight. Body-color steel 13″ wheels wear chrome Ford-branded hubcaps and are mounted with 215/75 Coker Classic wide-whitewall tires. A full-size spare is located in the trunk.

Drivetrain:

The 272ci Y-block V8 features an Edelbrock intake manifold and triple Holley 94 carburetors that were rebuilt in July 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed manual transmission. Additional underbody photographs are provided in the gallery below.
