Description:

This 1997 Chevrolet Camaro SS coupe has been modified by SLP Engineering and is powered by a 5.7-liter LT1 V8 mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Finished in Arctic White with Hugger Orange stripes over Arctic White leather upholstery, the car is equipped with the SS Alteration Package, which added 17″ wheels, a composite hood with a functional scoop, a performance air intake system, a rear deck lid spoiler, and a Hurst short-throw shifter in addition to removable T-top roof panels, a power-adjustable driver's seat, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Delco CD stereo.

Interior:

The cockpit features front bucket seats and a contoured rear bench trimmed in Arctic White leather with 30th Anniversary embroidery. Amenities include a power-adjustable driver's seat, air conditioning, cruise control, a rear window defogger, SLP Performance-branded floor mats, a Hurst shifter, a Delco CD stereo, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks. A 30th Anniversary plaque is mounted above the stereo. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 155-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level.

Exterior:

The car is finished in Arctic White with Hugger Orange stripes and color-coordinated SS badging. Exterior features include a composite hood with forced-air induction, a rear deck lid spoiler, removable T-top roof panels, fog lights, and body-color side moldings. White-finished 17″ five-spoke wheels wear SS-branded center caps and are mounted with 275/40 Cooper Zeon RS3-A tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs with ABS

Drivetrain:

The 5.7-liter LT1 V8 is equipped with an SLP Engineering air induction system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a BorgWarner T-56 six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
