Description:

This 1987 Chevrolet R10 Silverado is a short-bed Fleetside pickup that is finished in red over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a replacement 350ci V8 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission. Additional features include five-spoke 20″ Ridler wheels, LED exterior lighting, a cowl-induction hood, a sliding rear window, a rear roll pan, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, air conditioning, power locks and windows, and a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo.

Interior:

The cab features a bench seat trimmed in black vinyl upholstery joined by a color-coordinated headliner, dashboard, and door panels. Additional amenities include power locks and windows, air conditioning, cruise control, rubber floor mats, and a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo. The air conditioning system was recharged and a high-pressure seal was replaced in June 2023. There is no cover on the overhead lamp. The tilting two-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, battery voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The horn and clock are not working. The five-digit mechanical odometer indicates 22k miles. A mileage inconsistency is listed on the Carfax report in a May 2017 entry. Total mileage is unknown.

Exterior:

The truck left the factory finished in Standard Red (WA7475) and was repainted under previous ownership. Features include LED lighting, a cowl-induction hood, bright trim, a sliding rear window, dual mirrors, and a rear roll pan with a recessed license plate mount. Paint flaws, a dent in the right door, rust behind the right-rear wheel arch and in portions of the bed, and other blemishes are noted in the video.

Drivetrain:

The replacement 350ci V8 was installed under previous ownership. Exhaust flows through a dual exhaust system without catalytic converters that has Flowmaster mufflers. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, and a transmission fluid leak is noted. The truck is equipped with dual fuel tanks, though the right fuel tank is not working. Five-spoke 20″ Ridler wheels are mounted with 245/45 front and 275/40 rear Venezia Crusade HP tires. The truck is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The suspension was lowered under previous ownership, and coil spring boosters are inserted in the front coil springs. One of the wheel center caps is missing.
