Description:

This 1992 BMW 325i convertible is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission and is finished in Brilliant Red with a black soft top over black Bison leather. The car is equipped with 14″ basketweave wheels, Bilstein dampers, front sport seats, a cassette stereo, and air conditioning. Work since 2020 included replacing the cylinder head gasket, valve cover gasket, air mass meter, fuel filter, distributor cap and rotor, ignition wires, spark plugs, battery, and rear muffler. This E30 convertible shows 78k miles and is now offered with the owner's manual, service records, and a clean Florida title.

Interior:

The cabin features front sport seats and a rear bench upholstered in black Bison leather. Interior amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, an onboard computer, a cassette stereo, and power windows, locks, and side mirrors. The radio works intermittently. Upholstery damage on the driver's seat bottom is pictured. The steering wheel fronts a 150-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 78k miles.

Exterior:

The car is finished in Brilliant Red with a power-operated black convertible soft top, which requires a push when opening. Equipment includes fog lights, a power antenna, and dual exhaust outlets. A February 2003 entry on the Carfax report lists damage to the front, with noted paint work on the left-rear quarter panel as well as flaws on the hood and right-front fender that are shown in photos and video.

Drivetrain:

The 2.5-liter M20 inline-six features Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 168 horsepower and 164 lb-ft of torque. The cylinder head was machined in 2018, and the head gasket was replaced in 2020 along with the rear muffler. The valve cover gasket, rocker shaft plugs, air mass meter, fuel filter, distributor cap and rotor, ignition wires, spark plugs, fuel filter, battery, and engine oil were replaced in April 2023. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Basketweave 14″ alloy wheels are wrapped in 195/65 Vredestein Sportrac 5 tires mounted in 2019. The car is equipped with Bilstein shock absorbers and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with vented front rotors. An April 2023 invoice shown in the gallery states that the rear wheels are bent.
