Description:

This 1986 Buick Grand National is one of 5,512 built, which had a longtime GM technician owner. This beauty comes with extensive records and reference materials. If you want a clean, sorted, and reliable Grand National, then this is the one for you!

Interior:

The condition of the factory two-tone black and gray cloth upholstery and the carpet is excellent. The AC blows ice cold and the heater works as it should. The stereo has an aftermarket head unit and the power windows and locks all work. The car has several auxiliary gauges to monitor boost and any detonation issues.

Exterior:

The paint is in excellent condition with any minor blemishes detailed in the accompanying video. This Buick is rust-free and all the lights work. The car currently wears a black '87 grille but a correct '86 chrome grille is included with the car. The doors shut nicely and the body gaps are good.

Drivetrain:

The engine is said to be the original turbocharged 3.8-liter OHV V6 that Buick rated at 235 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque, but the included dyno sheet shows this engine has produced 360.45-horsepower and 438.09 lb-ft of torque. The engine has many performance upgrades, including a bigger 60-mm turbocharger, larger injectors, an intercooler, and methanol injection. The MAF translator, computer chip, exhaust system, and downpipe have all been upgraded. More info is in the video. The performance mufflers are from Hooker Headers. The 200-4R four-speed automatic transmission has a shift kit that shifts firmly, but not overly aggressively, in the provided video of the car being driven. This car has a limited-slip differential. Cold starts are a simple "turn key" operation.
