Description:

This 2003 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra convertible shows 17k miles and is powered by a supercharged 4.6-liter V8 linked to a 6-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential, and it is finished in black over Dark Charcoal leather and gray microsuede upholstery. Additional equipment includes 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a black convertible soft top, a vented hood, a rear spoiler, fog lights, articulated front sport seats, a Mach 460 stereo, a CD changer, remote keyless entry, cruise control, air conditioning, and power windows, mirrors, and locks. This SVT Cobra convertible is now offered with a window sticker, the owner's manual, service records, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean title.

Interior:

The cabin features articulated front sport seats and a contoured rear bench trimmed in Dark Charcoal leather with gray microsuede inserts, and the front seats feature Cobra emblems embroidered into the backrests. Amenities include a Mach 460 stereo with an in-dash six-disc CD changer as well as a power-adjustable driver's seat, a leather-wrapped shift knob, remote keyless entry, cruise control, air conditioning, and power windows, mirrors, and locks. The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and frames white instrument dials with a 160-mph speedometer and an SVT-branded tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline.

Exterior:

The Cobra was distinguished from the contemporary SN95 Mustang by circular front fog lights and a revised hood, rocker panels, and front and rear fascias. This example is finished in black, and additional equipment includes a power-retractable black soft top, a rear spoiler, dual polished exhaust outlets, and SVT and Cobra badging.

Drivetrain:

The supercharged 4.6-liter DOHC V8 features a cast-iron engine block, aluminum cylinder heads, a forged rotating assembly, and an oil cooler. Factory-rated output was 390 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. The battery was replaced in September 2022. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. SVT-specific suspension components consist of linear-rate springs, gas-pressurized Bilstein monotube dampers, and an independent rear suspension. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with Cobra-branded calipers up front.
