Description:

This 1999 Ferrari 550 Maranello has remained registered in Texas and Florida and now shows 27k miles. It is powered by a 5.5-liter V12 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and is finished in yellow over tan leather upholstery. The car is equipped with a limited-slip differential, 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a Tubi-Style exhaust system, fog lights, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, power-adjustable sport seats, a gated shifter, drilled aluminum pedals, a CD/cassette stereo, rear luggage straps, and automatic climate control. Work in 2023 has consisted of changing the oil, flushing the coolant and brake fluid, repairing a fuel tank leak, cleaning the fuel injectors, and replacing the battery, air conditioning compressor, fuel sender unit, fuel pump, spark plugs, and tires. This 550 Maranello is now offered with factory literature, partial service records, a car cover, spare parts, a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.

Interior:

The power-adjustable sport seats are upholstered in tan leather and are complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, and door panels. Ferrari-branded floor mats line the footwells, and additional appointments include drilled aluminum pedals, a gated shifter, automatic climate control, electric windows, a CD/cassette stereo, and rear luggage straps. The air conditioning compressor was replaced in 2023, and the climate control switchgear panel has deformed. The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel fronts a Jaeger gauge cluster with a 220-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,600-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and oil pressure, while an analog clock and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are located atop the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 27k miles.

Exterior:

The 550 Maranello was styled by Pininfarina, and this example is finished in yellow. Exterior details include projector-style headlights, fog lights, a hood scoop, a front spoiler, front fender vents, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, and quad exhaust tips exiting through the rear bumper cover.

Drivetrain:

The 5.5-liter quad-cam F133A V12 features 48 valves, dry-sump lubrication, and Bosch Motronic engine management. Work in 2023 has consisted of changing the oil, flushing the coolant, repairing a fuel tank leak, cleaning the fuel injectors, and replacing the battery, fuel sender unit, fuel filter, and spark plugs. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A Tubi-Style exhaust system has been added, and additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery. The 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 255/40 front and 295/35 rear Continental ExtremeContact Sport O2 tires that were fitted following the photoshoot. Braking is handled by red-finished Ferrari-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at all four corners. A brake fluid flush was performed in Feb. 2023.
