Description:

This 1996 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra is finished in Crystal White over black leather and is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 that has been modified with a Vortech supercharger kit. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission linked to a limited-slip differential, and additional features include a rear spoiler, fog lights, and 17″ five-spoke wheels in addition to UPR adjustable caster/camber plates, Eibach springs, air conditioning, cruise control, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo linked to a Mach 460 sound system. This Mustang SVT Cobra coupe is offered with a Deluxe Marti report, Ford SVT documentation, manufacturer's literature, and a clean Florida title.

Interior:

The cabin features articulated front seats upholstered in black leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Interior appointments include dual front airbags, cruise control, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo connected to a Mach 460 sound system. Light wear on seats and buttons is depicted in the gallery. Ford Racing-branded floor mats are included in the sale. The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames white instrument dials including a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 88k miles.

Exterior:

The SVT Cobra featured Cobra-logo fender badges and revised front and rear bumper covers when compared to the contemporary Mustang GT. This example is finished in Crystal White and features fog lights, hood vents, a rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. Imperfections noted in the gallery and Carfax.

Drivetrain:

The 4.6-liter V8 is equipped with a Vortech centrifugal supercharger kit and an Aeromotive 340 fuel pump. The removed three-point front strut tower brace is included in the sale. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a Borg-Warner T45 five-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok limited-slip differential. Polished 17″ five-spoke wheels from a later model SVT Cobra are mounted with 275/40 Sumitomo HTR Z5 tires. Eibach springs are fitted, as are UPR adjustable caster/camber plates. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with Cobra-branded calipers up front and cross-drilled and slotted rotors at each corner. An alignment and an oil change was completed in August 2023.
