Description:

This 1992 Ford Mustang LX hatchback is powered by a 331ci V8 linked to a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and modifications include an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Hurst shifter, MSD ignition, Aeromotive fuel system components, tubular headers, and Weld 15″ wheels. The car is finished in blue over gray upholstery, and Corbeau racing seats with Simpson harnesses are installed along with a half roll cage, nitrous oxide equipment, AutoMeter gauges, and an Alpine head unit linked with aftermarket stereo components.

Interior:

The Corbeau racing seats are trimmed in gray and black cloth and are fitted with Simpson harnesses that mount to the blue-finished half cage. Amenities include a Hurst shifter, aftermarket switchgear, a fire extinguisher, and an Alpine head unit. An Optima battery, aftermarket stereo components, and two nitrous oxide tanks are mounted in the trunk. The multifunction steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and supplementary gauges. An AutoMeter tachometer and five auxiliary readouts are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 48k miles. A mileage inconsistency is noted in a 2007 entry on the Carfax report. Total mileage is unknown.

Exterior:

The car is said to be one of approximately 661 LX hatchbacks finished in Bimini Blue (K3) for the model year and it is equipped with a cowl-induction hood, a raised rear spoiler, tinted windows, and a cut-off switch. A scrape is present on the front bumper cover.

Drivetrain:

The 331ci stroker V8 is equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold, MSD ignition, Aeromotive fuel system components, polished valve covers, Flowmaster mufflers, and tubular exhaust headers. Nitrous oxide equipment has been installed, but the system is not functional. A coolant flush was performed and the cooling fan and water pump have been replaced in preparation for the sale. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential with 3.55:1 gears. A Ford Racing differential cover and subframe connectors are installed. Polished 15″ Weld Racing wheels mounted with 165-series front tires and 295/50 Futura Sure Sport rear tires. Tokico shocks and aftermarket springs are installed. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
