Description:

This 1957 Ford Thunderbird is powered by a 312ci V8 paired with a three-speed Fordomatic automatic transmission, and it is finished in white over a black-and-white interior. Equipment includes a removable white hardtop with porthole windows in addition to a black soft top, power-assisted brakes, power steering, an analog clock, and an under-dash air conditioning system. Preparation for sale included replacing the carburetor, changing fluids, repairing the air conditioning, and replacing the power steering lines.

Interior:

The cabin houses a bench seat upholstered in black and white vinyl. The aftermarket under-dash air conditioning system was repaired in preparation for the sale. The AM radio does not work. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a centrally mounted 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. An aftermarket temperature readout is located below the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 460 miles but total mileage is unknown.

Exterior:

The car was refinished in its current shade of white at some point under prior ownership. A black soft top and a removable white hardtop with porthole windows are equipped. Exterior blemishes are shown in the gallery.

Drivetrain:

The D-code 312ci Y-block V8 is topped with a four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 245 horsepower. Thecarburetor was replaced, fluids were changed, and the fuel system was serviced in preparation for the sale. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Fordomatic three-speed automatic transmission. The car needs to be in neutral for the ignition to work. Wire-spoke wheels are mounted with 7.50-14 Firestone whitewall tires. Stopping power is supplied by power-assisted drum brakes at each corner. The power steering lines were replaced in preparation for sale.
