Description:

This 1993 Ford Taurus SHO was acquired in 2022 and subsequent work has included refurbishing the interior, servicing the A/C system, and replacing a valve cover gasket, rear main seal, and drivetrain mounts as well as power steering, suspension, and braking system components. The car is finished in black over black cloth and leather and is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes four-wheel disc brakes, fog lights, a rear spoiler, and SHO-specific bodywork as well as a sunroof, a CD and cassette stereo, a JBL sound system, automatic climate control, cruise control, a keyless entry pad, and power-adjustable front sport seats. Now showing 107k miles, this Taurus SHO is offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with a Marti Report, recent service records, spare parts, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.

Interior:

The cabin features seating surfaces trimmed in black cloth and leather, and amenities include power-adjustable front sport seats, a CD and cassette stereo, a JBL sound system, automatic climate control, cruise control, and power windows and locks. A refurbishment in January 2023 included replacing the leather upholstery, dashboard, steering wheel, and headliner. The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted on a tilting column and frames a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 107k miles.

Exterior:

The body was delivered from the factory in Black (UA) and has been refinished. The SHO featured revised bumper covers and side cladding along with debossed SHO emblems, and additional features include a sunroof, fog lights, power-adjustable side mirrors, a keyless entry pad, a decklid spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets.

Drivetrain:

The Yamaha-sourced 3.0-liter V6 features dual overhead camshafts and was factory rated at 220 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque. Recent work included servicing the air conditioning system and replacing a valve cover gasket, the rear main seal, and the engine and transmission mounts. Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below. Directional 16″ “Slicer” cast aluminum wheels are mounted with 215/60 Kumho Solus tires, and braking is handled by anti-lock disc brakes at all four corners. Work in 2023 included replacing the power steering rack, front and rear shocks, brake pads and rotors, tie rods, and axle shaft seals.
