Description:

This 1966 Volkswagen Beetle was refurbished prior to the selling dealer's January 2024 acquisition and is finished in beige over a coordinated interior. Power is provided by a 1.3-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. The car is equipped with electronic ignition, 15″ steel wheels, chrome bumpers, dual side mirrors, front bucket seats, a push-button radio, and a bamboo under-dash shelf.

Interior:

The front bucket seats and rear bench have been reupholstered in beige, and the floors are lined with brown carpets. Interior appointments include a bamboo under-dash shelf, a push-button radio, and ventilation controls. The passenger window crank is broken. Instrumentation includes a 120-km/h speedometer and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 45k kilometers (~28k miles), a handful of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

Exterior:

The car was refinished in beige at some point under prior ownership and is equipped with headlight visors, dual side mirrors, VW-branded window vent shades, and chrome bumpers with overriders.

Drivetrain:

The 1.3-liter flat-four features a single downdraft carburetor and sends power to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle. An alternator and electronic ignition have been fitted. A photo of the engine stamping is presented in the gallery. Steel 15″ wheels wear VW-stamped hubcaps and are mounted with 5.60 Maggion Falco F2 tires. Stopping power is provided by drum brakes at all four corners, and the ride height has been lowered.
