Description:

This 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is finished in Oxford White with Shadow Black stripes over Ebony leather and Miko suede, and power is supplied by a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 linked with a Tremec seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. Equipment includes the Handling and Technology packages along with a black-painted roof, HID headlights, 20″ split-spoke alloy wheels, Brembo brakes, Recaro front seats, carbon-fiber interior trim, and SYNC 3 infotainment with an 8″ touchscreen.

Interior:

The interior features Recaro front seats trimmed in Ebony leather with Alcantara inserts, gray accents, and embroidered Cobra insignias on the backrests. Exposed carbon-fiber trim lines the dashboard, and interior amenities include a power-adjustable driver's seat with memory settings, SYNC 3 infotainment system with an 8″ touchscreen, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and Ford Track Apps. The Technology Package added a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, voice-activated navigation, and BLIS blind-spot monitoring. The passenger-side dashboard plaque identifies this GT500 as chassis L4398. The Alcantara- and leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel features a gray centering stripe and paddle shifters, and it frames a configurable 12″ LCD instrument panel with an odometer indicating 1,100 miles. Analog oil pressure and oil temperature gauges are mounted in the center stack.

Exterior:

The car is finished in Oxford White with Shadow Black over-the-top vinyl stripes and a black-painted roof. Additional exterior features include a louvered hood with hood pins, a Shelby-branded front splitter, Cobra badging, heated side mirrors, automatic HID headlights, and LED taillights with sequential turn signals. The Handling Package added front splitter wickers and a rear spoiler with a Gurney flap.

Drivetrain:

The hand-assembled 5.2-liter Predator V8 was factory rated at 760 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque and features an inverted roots-type supercharger, an air-to-liquid intercooler, and an engine oil cooler as well as a plaque bearing the engraved signature of the engine builder. An oil catch can was included as part of the optional Handling Package. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential with 3.73:1 gearing. The car features an active dual exhaust system with quad polished outlets. Black 20″ split-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 305/30 front and 315/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The Handling Package included adjustable strut top mounts, and the car is equipped with four-wheel independent suspension and a MagneRide damping system. Stopping power is provided by red six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo brake calipers fitted over two-piece ventilated rotors.
