Description:

This 2018 Ram ProMaster 2500 is a high-roof example that rides on a 136″ wheelbase and was modified with mobile office accommodations and wrapped in matte black. Solar panels are mounted atop the roof, and the van is fitted with dual climate control systems, lithium house batteries, and an inverter. The rear passenger compartment has been modified extensively and all additional equipment is described below.

Interior:

The front cabin houses bucket seats upholstered in black cloth along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and rubber flooring. Controls for the intercom system and rear partition are mounted between the sun visors, and additional equipment consists of cruise control, power windows, power locks, air conditioning, and a Uconnect 3 touchscreen infotainment system with navigation. The rear compartment features two captain's chairs and three individual seats that are trimmed in black and surround a central table. A touchscreen tabletop display controls the cabin lighting and the power-operated partition. A television is mounted at each end of the cabin, and a Kenwood stereo is linked to a surround-sound audio system with a subwoofer. Additional amenities include a refrigerated drawer, an ice maker, vinyl plank flooring, a power inverter, power outlets, WiFi connectivity, and a climate control system. The lithium house batteries were replaced and the air conditioning was repaired and serviced in preparation for the sale. The multifunction steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a central digital display, and readouts for fuel level and coolant temperature.

Exterior:

The van left the factory in Bright White (PW7), and the exterior other than the roof has been wrapped in matte black. Solar panels and a satellite receiver are mounted atop the roof, and additional exterior equipment includes power-adjustable heated mirrors, clearance lights, running boards, tinted windows, and a reverse camera.

Drivetrain:

The 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 was factory rated at 280 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through a 62TE six-speed automatic transaxle. Aftermarket 17″ alloy wheels are finished in black and mounted with 245/65 Hankook Dynapro AT2 tires. A non-matching spare is stored under the rear cargo area. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock Brembo disc brakes.
